Two charged following stabbing and robbery in Miller

A man and a woman have been charged and investigations continue following an alleged stabbing and robbery at Miller overnight, NSW Police say.

About 10.25pm yesterday, emergency services were called to Cabramatta Avenue following reports of a stabbing.

Two men, one with stab wounds to his upper arm and one with facial injuries, were treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from Green Valley Local Area Command commenced investigations which established that the men were also allegedly robbed.

Crime scenes were established in Cabramatta Avenue and a unit in Wanganella Avenue.

A short time later, officers arrested a man and a woman at a unit Wanganella Avenue. Both were taken to Green Valley Police Station.

A 56-year-old man was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery – accessory after the fact. He was refused bail to appear before Liverpool Local Court today.

A 20-year-old woman was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery – accessory after the fact. She was granted conditional bail to appear before Liverpool Local Court on Thursday 25 August 2016.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing and further arrests are expected.
