Tyaak burglary

Detectives from Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit are investigating a burglary which occurred in Tyaak last month.

Investigators believe a man attended a property on Cunninghams Road about midday on Wednesday 19 August.

The man broke into a number of sheds and the residence on the property and stole a badly damaged Nissan X-Trail ute, a tandem trailer, three motorcycles and a number of tools.

Police have since recovered two of the motorcycles.

Investigators have released images and CCTV of a man that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian, 25-30 years with a thin build and a distinctive mark on his cheek.

At the time of the offence he was wearing jeans, a black hooded top and dark coloured cap.
