Get up to two free hard waste collections picked up from your home every year.
Tip – get two 3-cubic metre collections a year or combine them for one 6-cubic metre collection.
Visit our tips or resource recovery centres
Every household can access up to two free passes every year to use at our resource recovery centres in Campbellfield or Sunbury.
Tip – You don't need a trailer for your visit. Put the back seats down in your car and lay out your hard waste. Plus, there are items that can be accepted for free anytime outside of your passes.
Go to a Hume Clean Day
We run a free recycling day on the first Saturday of every season - March, June, September and December, where you can come and drop off accepted items for free.
Tip – check accepted items before coming along.
Drop off your e-waste
E-waste or electronics like old computers, TVs, and anything with a cord can be brought to our resource recovery centres in Campbellfield or Sunbury for free at any time.
Tip - Don't mix e-waste in with items not accepted for free as additional charges may be incurred.
