Unarmed robbery, Aspley

Carseldine detectives have released CCTV in an effort to locate two people involved in an unarmed robbery at an Aspley shopping centre, located at the corner of Gympie and Webster roads, this morning (March 11).

Around 5.10am a 46-year-old woman was walking towards a supermarket from the shopping centre carpark when a man jumped out of the passenger seat of a small white hatchback.

Following a struggle the man stole the woman's handbag and fled in the white hatchback. This vehicle was sighted in company with a dark SUV.

The woman was not physically injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, anyone who noticed anything suspicious, or motorists or home/business owners with relevant vision, to contact them.
