Unidentified man found in Oakleigh South

Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man that was located in Oakleigh South yesterday, Victoria Police say.

A member of public found the man unconscious in parkland at Karkarook Park just before 9am yesterday and contacted emergency services.

He was then taken to Monash Medical Centre, where he remains.

Attempts by police to identify the man have been fruitless and the man is unable to communicate due to a medical condition.

Police have released an image of the clothing he was wearing in the hope someone can identify him and provide police with information.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 40-years-old, 180cm tall, brown/red moustache and beard, short brown hair and blue eyes.

He was wearing a tie dye t-shirt, blue jeans, brown belt and Kustom branded runners in silver and grey with yellow laces.

Anyone with information about the man is urged to contact Oakleigh Police Station on 9567 8900.
