A 30-year-old Mount Louisa man has been charged following an investigation into a stolen vehicle from Aitkenvale on 1 February.
It will be alleged the man attended an address on Ross River Road, Aitkenvale, between 9pm on 1 February and 7am on 2 February, before fleeing in a grey Toyota Landcruiser.
The Toyota was allegedly seen several times on 13 February at Mundingburra.
The Toyota then evaded police on 14 February at Mount Low.
Police located the stolen vehicle on Charles Street, Heatley about 11.45am yesterday, Sunday15 February and arrested the man a short time later.
He has since been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a motor vehicle with intent to deprive and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence.
He is expected to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court today, 16 February.
