Police are continuing to investigate a wounding incident that occurred at North Mackay Saturday evening, Queensland Police say.
At about 11.45pm on March 24, a physical altercation occurred at Gooseponds Park between a man and a woman who were known to each other.
During the incident the 38-year-old woman sustained injuries to her head, arm and hands and was transported to the Mackay Base Hospital.
The man left the scene on a pushbike.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
