Police investigating an altercation in a Caboolture park yesterday afternoon in which a man sustained a number of laceration injuries have charged a woman with unlawful wounding- domestic violence offence, Queensland Police say.
It will be alleged that around 5.20pm police were called to parkland in Hayes Street following reports of a man and woman fighting.
Police attended the scene and located a 28-year-old Caboolture man in the vicinity with several alleged stab wounds to his arm and leg. The man was transported to Caboolture Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A woman was located nearby and arrested without incident.
A 31-year-old woman was denied police bail and remanded in custody to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
