Police have charged a woman following an alleged assault on Derby Street in Pimlico overnight, Queensland Police say.
It will be alleged around 8.45pm two women became involved in an altercation during which one woman sustained stab wounds to her arm.
Police attended the scene and took a 37-year-old Pimlico woman into custody.
She been charged with wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm and is due to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court today.
A 39-year-old was transported to Townsville Base Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
