Update 2: Armed robberies, Brisbane and Logan

Detectives have charged three men following investigations into a series of alleged armed robberies across Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich in the past week.

It will be alleged around 10:20pm on Friday, a 28-year-old man was threatened by three people while arriving home in his Toyota Corolla at Wardle Street in Mount Gravatt East.

The victim was allegedly threatened with a firearm before being assaulted and forced from his vehicle.

The group allegedly travelled in the vehicle to Compton Road at Woodridge where they attempted to break into a service station before leaving.

At 12:30 am, police responded to reports of an armed robbery at a service station in Johnson Road, Hillcrest

Two people allegedly smashed their way into the service station before threatening the female console operator with a firearm and crowbar and stealing cash and cigarettes.

At 2.15am it will be alleged the same group broke into a service station on Mount Cotton Road at Capalaba before threatening an attendant with a firearm and stealing cash and cigarettes.

It will further be alleged just after 3am on Monday two people smashed the glass doors of a Railway Terrace service station at Goodna.

The employee locked herself in a back office while the pair allegedly stole cash registers and fled the scene.

Police tracked the vehicle to Wacol where three men fled on foot before being arrested nearby.

A 25-year-old Slacks Creek man, an 18-year-old Holland Park man and a 29-year-old Holland Park man have all been charged with four counts of armed robbery, three counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter premises and commit an indictable offence and one count of attempted enter premises to commit an indictable offence.

All three men appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court yesterday and were remanded in custody to reappear on January 30.

Investigations are continuing into the offences.
