Northern Territory Police have arrested a fourth man in relation to the death of a 19-year-old man east of Alice Springs on New Year's Day.
An arrest warrant for the offence of murder was sworn for a 22-year-old yesterday in Alice Springs. The man was arrested this morning by Victoria Police. NT Police detectives have flown to Victoria overnight and an application will be made to a Victorian Court today to have him extradited back to the Northern Territory.
Three males, aged 17, 20 and 21, also remain in custody.
Investigations into the death are still continuing and police are urging anyone with any information to contact them immediately on 131 444 and quote Job NTP2400000232.
