Update 5: Burglary and wounding, Coorparoo - final charges

Detectives from South Brisbane Child Protection and Investigation Group are continuing investigations into an alleged burglary and wounding at a Coorparoo home on Monday, August 16 and have now charged a total of four teenagers with a combined 44 offences, which include attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.

All four boys, three aged 15 and one 13-year-old, have been arrested and charged with 11 offences each including four counts of attempted murder, three of grievous bodily harm and one count each of deprivation of liberty, burglary, enter dwelling with intent whilst armed and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

All four were denied police bail and were due to appear before the Brisbane Children's Court.

One of the teens, a 15-year-old Goodna boy, was arrested at the scene and charged with his 11 offences on August 16.

A second teen, a 15-year-old from Browns Plains, was arrested and charged yesterday (August 18).

Detectives today (August 19) charged a 15-year-old Springfield Lakes boy, who had been admitted to hospital on Monday and has since been discharged.

Police initially charged the 13-year-old Inala boy on August 17 with three offences however he was today (August 19) charged with additional offences including four counts of attempted murder, three counts of grievous bodily harm, and deprivation of liberty.
