Update 5: Suspicious death at Crows Nest

Detectives investigating the murder of 61-year-old Krishna Chopra at Crows Nest last month are seeking public assistance to identify a metal bar located during a ground search near her home along Park Road.

Police are hoping to determine what the metal bar might be used for, and if anyone has knowledge of owning or using a similar bar (pictured).

The original size of the bar has been shortened to 47cm in length, which may suggest it has been modified for a particular purpose.

Police cannot confirm at this stage whether the bar is connected to the death of Krishna however are looking to establish its origins as part of ongoing investigations.

Detective continues to ask for anyone who has not already come forward, who may have had an association with Ms Chopra or visited her house at 5 Park Road, Crows Nest to come forward.

Further to this, police continue to seek information in relation to anyone who was in the Park Road area of Crows Nest on January 21 and 22 to come forward and discuss their observations and movements with police.
