Update - Appeal for information - Assault - Darwin

Northern Territory Police are renewing their appeal for information about an alleged assault which occurred on Gardens Road recently.

It is alleged that between 6.40pm and 7.00pm on Tuesday 20 November, a 21-year-old female was walking along Gardens Road towards the city when she was approached by an unknown male who assaulted her. The male then fled the area on foot in an unknown direction, Northern Territory Police say

The male is described as being a Caucasian in his early to mid-thirties, approximately 170 – 175cm tall, clean shaven, with light coloured, short shaved hair and having a distinctive chipped front tooth. He was wearing a plain grey t-shirt and dark coloured jeans.

A COMFIT has been completed and investigators are hoping this image will assist them in identifying the alleged offender.

Anyone who recognises the image and may have information about the man is urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
