Update – Armed robberies in Logan, QLD

A man has been charged over the alleged armed robberies of three liquor stores at Marsden, Waterford and North Maclean on Saturday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

It will be alleged a 30-year-old Meadowbrook man and another man used a stolen motorbike and firearm during the robberies.

The man has been charged with three counts each of armed robbery, two counts each of unlawful use of a vehicle and one count of unlawful possession of a weapon after being arrested at a Brassall address yesterday afternoon.

He is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court this morning.

The second man and a green Kawasaki KLX 250 or similar that was alleged to have been used in the three robberies are yet to be located.

Anyone with information and has not yet contacted police is encouraged to get in touch with them.

Investigations are continuing.
