Update – Armed robbery in Gracemere, QLD

Detectives from the Rockhampton Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have charged a man over the armed robbery of a convenience store in Gracemere earlier this week, Queensland Police say.

On Monday, the man is alleged to have entered the Lawrie Street shop armed with a knife and demanded cash from a female staff member.

An 18-year-old man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is expected to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court tomorrow.
