Detectives are continuing to investigate after a vehicle was stolen in Maroochydore on August 5, Queensland Police say.
Around 8.30pm, a man was in his car at the intersection of Maroochy Boulevard and Plaza parade when a man approached him armed with a knife.
The man opened the door and threated the driver and then stole the car which was last seen on Fisherman’s Road heading towards Bli Bli.
The car was located yesterday afternoon (August 7) on Daintree Close in Kuluin however the man remains outstanding.
The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 25-years-old with scruffy hair, and was wearing a dark-hooded jumper and a back pack.
