Update - COVID response

Armidale Regional Council

In anticipation of a possible announcement to lockdown restrictions easing in our region over the weekend, Council wish to advise that if the lockdown is lifted we will progressively be returning services to normal next week. This will commence with waste management facilities reopening to the public on Monday 16 August, with the balance of customer facing services recommencing Tuesday 17 August. Please see below

All services remain closed

Monday 16 August

Waste management facilities open to the public

Tuesday 17 August Recommencement of non-essential community facilities, including;

• Armidale and Guyra Libraries

• Armidale and Guyra Civic Administration Buildings

• Armidale Folk Museum

• Kent and Hughes House

• Armidale Visitors Information Centre

• Home Support Services Guyra (Nicolli House)

• Council managed community halls including the Armidale Town Hall

Council's Customer Service team will continue to be available over the phone and assist with any enquiries as usual on 1300 136 833 or there are a number of self service options on the Council website.

COVID restrictions will still apply.
