Darwin Major Crash Investigation Unit detectives have today arrested an 18-year-old Palmerston man for his involvement in a fatal crash on the Stuart Highway near Livingstone late last month.
The male was the driver of the car involved in the crash on 24 January which resulted in the death of a 30-year-old female. In addition to this, two other occupants suffered serious injuries and were transported to Royal Darwin Hospital.
The 18-year-old man has been charged with drive a vehicle dangerously cause death, as well as two counts drive a vehicle dangerously cause serious harm.
He has been granted bail to appear in Darwin Local Court on 20 February 2019.
