Detectives investigating the alleged kidnapping and torture of a woman last Sunday evening in Mackay have charged a second man after travelling to North Queensland to make the arrest, Queensland Police say.
Around 5.50pm on April 15, it will be alleged a group of four men and woman confronted the 39-year-old woman at an apartment complex on Gregory Street.

The group then allegedly dragged the woman from the car and further assaulted her with a pole before she managed to flee and hide before contacting police.
The woman was treated at Mackay Base Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
A 42-year-old Vincent man has been charged with three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count each of kidnapping and torture.
He is expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court this morning.
