Police have charged a Burwood East man following a series of crashes in the Melbourne CBD last night, Victoria Police say.
A car was reported allegedly driving erratically along Swanston Street before crashing into a number of businesses just after 11pm.
No one was injured during the incident.
The 34-year-old has been charged with a range of offences, including:
•Five counts of criminal damage
•Conduct endangering life
•Conduct endangering serious injury
•Dangerous driving
•Possess a controlled weapon
•Commit an indictable offence while on bail
•Fail to answer bail
He will appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
