Police will prepare a report for the coroner following the death of a 28-year-old man at Westcourt.
The man was reported missing to police on December 29 after he was last seen entering a Chinaman Creek canal around 4am that morning.
Extensive searches failed to locate the man.
Around 10am this morning the man's body was located in an area of the creek by a member of the public.
There are no suspicious circumstances.
