A man has been charged with murder by Maryborough detectives after a 58-year-old woman was located deceased yesterday, Queensland Police say.
Police were called to a Ferry Street Motel around 5 am and a short time later the woman was located and pronounced dead at the scene.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder.
He has been denied police bail and is due to appear in the Maryborough Magistrates Court on Monday, November 5.
Investigations are continuing.
