UPDATE No new NT community Covid cases, close and casual contacts return negative tests

No new community cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Northern Territory, following the positive case who travelled to Darwin from Newcastle via Brisbane on 17 September 2021.

All 21 close contacts have returned an negative COVID-19 test result and will complete 14 days of mandatory quarantine.

All casual contacts in the NT have now returned a negative result, except for one which relates to a small child who has now become a casual contact and is being tested out of precaution.
