One person has died following a crash at Tiakitahuna last night.
Emergency services were called to the crash, which involved two vehicles on State Highway 56 at around 7:30pm.
Sadly, one person died at the scene. Additionally, one person sustained serious injuries and two people have moderate injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit carried out a scene examination and enquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
