Officers investigating a suspicious house fire in Norman Gardens have charged a man with arson overnight, Queensland Police say.
Emergency services were called to a house that was on fire yesterday at 4am on Pftzemaier Street.
The house was extensively damaged as a result.
A 32-year-old Koongal man has been charged with one count each of arson and stealing and is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court today.
