Updated Activities Associated Direction 6 October, South Australia

The Emergency Management (Activities Associated No 14) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Activities Associated No 15) (COVID-19) Direction 2021. This Direction came into effect at 4:08pm on Wednesday, 6 October 2021.

Private Function numbers (at a licensed premises):

  • If you have an indoor event where people are standing up to eat or drink, 1 person per 2 square metres and there is a cap of 150 people attending.
  • If you have an indoor event where people are sitting to eat and drink, the number of people allowed depends on density (3 people per 4 square metres).
  • If you have an outdoor event where people are standing or sitting to eat or drink the number of people allowed depends on density (1 person per 2 square metres).

* Note this change does not include the Local Government Areas of Mount Gambier City, District Council of Grant and Wattle Range Council, the restrictions of 10 people at Private Functions and density requirements of 1 person per 4 square metres remains in place.
