Major Crime Detectives have upgraded charges against three men after the death of an alleged assault victim at Christmas.
Police launched an investigation into an alleged assault on Sunday, 23 December 2018 in Borroloola and the men, aged in their twenties, were originally charged with serious harm.
Following the death of the 19-year-old victim at the Royal Darwin Hospital, officers upgraded the charges to murder yesterday.
Investigations remain ongoing.
