Sad, but not surprising, news – the recent wet weather has meant we've needed to hit pause on a couple of events this weekend including the Upsurge art event and Pedal in the Park. Showtime Carnival in the City is still on this weekend, with a number of changes to the Saturday 9 April program to keep activities indoors and out of the weather.
Upsurge and Pedal in the Park were scheduled to begin this weekend. Upsurge will be postponed to a later date, and we'll share more details on our website and the City of Wollongong Facebook page soon. Pedal in the Park has been cancelled.
For those excited to attend the Showtime Carnival in the City, we've rearranged some of the activities that were originally planned for Saturday, to ensure everyone's safety. On Saturday 9 April there will be fun and entertainment including Kids activities, face painting, Hip Hop and more – all held inside Wollongong Central. Outdoor rides, games and showbags will be delayed, starting on Sunday 10 April due to wet weather.
