The United States is in touch with French authorities and will help to investigate the Monday's attack on a police officer and his family near Paris, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said in a briefing on Tuesday.
"US officials have been in touch with French authorities," Earnest stated. "The United States will do what we can to assist French authorities as they conduct this investigation."
