USAID Expands Localization by Enhancing WorkwithUSAID.gov Access

USAID

USAID announced today that WorkwithUSAID.gov is now available in Spanish and French, expanding accessibility to the website's valuable resources for new and potential partner organizations in more of the countries where USAID works. Through WorkwithUSAID.gov, USAID has created a platform to enable new, local, U.S.-based, and nontraditional partners to learn how to engage with, or become a part of, USAID.

Particularly for local organizations, navigating the USAID partnership process requires English-language capabilities. To increase accessibility in other languages and ease of collaboration, USAID is pleased to expand the platform into Spanish and French - with Arabic coming soon.

Since the launch of the Work with USAID platform in November 2021, more than 6,300 global organizations have registered on the website - 67 percent of which are local partners.

This effort is just one of many tools USAID has developed to provide greater language accessibility to the development community. It serves as part of USAID's broader approach to advancing locally led development, in which local actors develop solutions, and bring their capacity, leadership, and resources to bear to make those solutions a reality.
