A young driver sustained minor injuries in a car rollover at Belair this morning.
Emergency services were called to Upper Sturt Road, Belair just before 4.30am on Wednesday 20 May by reports of a single car crash.
The Toyota ute, heading downhill in pouring rain, lost control on a bend, hit a barrier and rolled onto its roof.
The driver, a 23-year-old Flagstaff Hill man, luckily sustained only minor injuries. He was taken to hospital by ambulance for medical treatment.
The ute was towed from the scene and Upper Sturt Road has been cleared of any hazards.
Drivers are reminded to take extra care on the roads and adjust their driving in response to the conditions.
