The City of Fremantle is sad to share that the newly-built change facilities at South Beach have been vandalised in a spate of attacks over recent weeks.
The City has moved in swiftly each time to repair damaged fixtures and remove graffiti, in an effort to restore amenity and deter further vandalism.
South Beach and the facilities are there for everyone to use, so it is extremely disappointing that some people would intentionally cause significant damage to this brand-new building.
As well as reviewing CCTV, the City's community safety officers are also stepping up patrols, both within the building and in the South Beach area.
The City is appealing to the public for their help in protecting these new facilities. If anyone observes acts of vandalism or antisocial behaviour they're urged to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
Together we can make South Beach an enjoyable experience for everyone this summer.
