AusNet contractors will be carrying out vegetation works in Yea this week.
Several trees have been identified for removal, with most located on the east side of Miller Street and Whatton Place.
These trees pose a fire risk due to their proximity to overhead lines and their location in a High Bushfire Risk Area.
Council will replant the area with suitable vegetation as part of our commitment to community safety and maintaining local amenity.
Tree removals are expected to take two days, weather permitting.
Minor traffic delays may occur to ensure the safety of motorists.
