Vehicle, cash and drugs seized after Port Melbourne search warrant

Police have arrested a man and seized a car, cash and drugs following a search warrant in Port Melbourne this morning.

Officers from the Prahran Divisional Response Unit executed the warrant in Nott Street about 10am following the three month long investigation.

A 29-year-old Port Melbourne man was arrested at the residence and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Police seized a Range Rover Sport, cash and drugs from the residence.

Prahran Divisional Response Unit Detective Senior Sergeant Tim Moreland said the investigation was another opportunity to demonstrate to the community the dedication his team go to in an effort to disrupt criminal networks and take illicit substances off our streets.

"We listen to the community and will remain vigilant against those taking part in illegal activity," he said.
