Police are appealing for public assistance after both vehicles belonging to 39-year-old Seymour man Jonathan Dick were located over the weekend, Victoria Police say.
The blue 1997 Ford Fairmont sedan, registration ONV 954 was found parked in Wamba Road in Ivanhoe East about midday on Saturday 11 February.
Investigators are keen to establish how long the Ford may have been parked in Wamba Road and if anyone saw the driver of the vehicle or any suspicious activity in the area.
Homicide Squad detectives continue to search for Jonathan Dick, the brother of David Dick who died following a serious assault in Doncaster last Friday 3 February.
David, a 36-year-old Doncaster man, was brutally attacked at a Doncaster Road shopping centre about 6am.
Members of the public located him injured near a lift lobby at the property at about 6.10am and called triple zero (000).
David suffered head injuries and died at the scene.
Investigators believe Jonathan may be able to assist with their enquiries and urge him to hand himself in.
Further investigations have revealed Jonathan disposed of the white vehicle prior to the murder taking place and detectives are now appealing for information regarding the movements of the blue Ford Fairmont.
Images of Jonathan and the blue Ford Fairmont have been released in the hope someone may recognise him or have information on his current whereabouts.
