Veteran wellbeing SUMMIT

Gathering stories and people who have success in promoting veteran wellbeing, mental health and suicide prevention

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA WELLBEING AUSTRALIA today announced the VETERAN WELLBEING SUMMIT #VWS2019 will begin 14 August 2019. #VWS2019 will be online, with live webinars and community meetings across August and September. Who should register to attend? Current and ex-ADF, their partners and family members, their support networks, medical and allied health professionals. Thanks to the generous support of our partners: South Lake Macquarie RSL sub Branch, Codex Digital and the Resilience Centre, #VWS2019 is being run at no cost to participants or presenters.

"The focus is to be on action, hope and transformation. Gathering stories and people who have success in veteran wellbeing, mental health and suicide prevention. No heavy policy stuff or getting caught up in the tragedy of what isn't working, but really focusing on what works. All of these successes form part of solving the puzzle."
