The 2025-26 Grassroots Cricket Fund (GCF) will deliver 107 grants to cricket clubs across Victoria, as part of a joint initiative between the Australian Cricketers' Association and Cricket Australia.
The GCF ensures cricket clubs across Australia receive much-needed investments to support those who help drive grassroots cricket.
Across all initiatives, the most requested support nationwide includes playing equipment, promotional support and technology.
For season 2025-26, Victoria received the largest amount of funds distributed across all states and territories, totalling $267,820.
Since launching in 2019, Victorian cricket clubs have been the recipients of over $3.8 million in funding, with the next closest state being NSW, awarded over $2.2 million in funding.
Cricket Victoria General Manager Premier Cricket & Community Cricket Liam Murphy said:
"It's fantastic to see 107 Victorian clubs benefit from the 2025-26 Grassroots Cricket Fund. This investment, made possible by the Australian Cricketers' Association and Cricket Australia, continues to strengthen the foundations of our game."
"Victoria's strong results in the program are a testament to the dedication of our Cricket Managers, who work closely with clubs to champion the fund, and ensure communities can access the support they need."
