Victoria has confirmed its 13-player squad for the upcoming Dean Jones Trophy match against New South Wales at CitiPower Centre beginning on October 20.
Chris Rogers' side will be looking to make it two from two against their rivals, following Victoria's thrilling 38-run Sheffield Shield victory on Friday.
The fixture will also contribute to the Hodge -Matthews Cup, contested across both Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup matches between the two states, with the aggregate result determining the overall winner.
Australian A representatives Will Sutherland, Sam Elliott and Harry Dixon return to the side, providing a major boost to Victoria's lineup following recent national duties.
Elliott's inclusion will bolster Victoria's bowling stocks for the crunch match. The young quick was one of the competition's standout bowlers last season, capturing an outstanding 14 wickets at an average of just 23.28 runs.
The match will also see Richmond Cricket Club's Austin Anlezark play his first home fixture for Victoria, as the team prepares for another chapter in Australian cricket's oldest rivalry.
