On the 11th of June, Knox City Council will host the Knox Neighbourhood Policing Forum in which Victoria Police invite local services and community members to talk with the police about issues impacting safety and wellbeing in the Knox community.
The forum is designed to encourage open conversation between police and the community, providing a space to discuss concerns, ask questions and better understand local policing priorities. A Victoria Police panel will lead the session, with questions welcomed from the audience throughout the event.
The forum will explore a range of issues currently affecting the local area, including:
• Current crime trends and crime prevention
• Young people and community safety
• Family violence
• Road policing
• Drugs and drug related crime
These discussions aim to support collaboration between police and the community, improve awareness, and identify practical ways to strengthen neighbourhood safety.
