Australia will have its very own Senator Robert Kennedy elected on May 18 if the Liberal Democrats have their way,
The Liberal Democrats are Australia's only political party that consistently champions small government and other libertarian values. Mr Kennedy, an engineer from Toorak, has been selected as the Liberal Democrats number one candidate for Victoria.
Unlike John F Kennedy, he won't be promising to put anyone on the moon, but does promise to never vote for an increase in taxes or a reduction in freedom.
The Liberal Democrats officially launch their Victorian campaign this Saturday.
