Victoria's Resources In Limelight

Victoria's critical minerals and gold potential have been highlighted on the world stage this week.

The Resources Victoria team has been busy at the the International Mining and Resources Conference and Expo (IMARC) in Sydney, showcasing the many development opportunities available within the state.

Through the conference, it has been highlighted how Victoria's strong regulatory framework, geoscience expertise and policy direction are working hand-in-hand to drive responsible sector growth.

Over three days, team members spoke across multiple conference forums, sharing insights into their work to unlock Victoria's critical minerals future.

With critical minerals like zircon, titanium, rare earth elements and antimony needed to produce wind turbines, rechargeable batteries and electric vehicles, Victoria's geology provides opportunities.

Victoria's Critical Minerals Roadmap sets out the direction for responsible minerals development in the state, but it is only possible through strong regulation that builds industry confidence and supports a transparent resources sector.

The conference coincides with the signing of the US-Australia Critical Minerals Framework this week.
