Vision: Hotel break and enter at Cardwell

Police have released vision and are seeking public assistance following a break and enter at a hotel in Cardwell earlier this month.

At 9pm on Friday March 1, a man broke into a hotel on Victoria Street and stole a large sum of cash.

Investigations to date have revealed that the man appeared to have knowledge of the hotel's layout.

The man was last seen wearing a motorcycle helmet and a head lamp and carrying a white or light-coloured zip-top bag.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may recognise the man or the bag in the footage to contact Tully CIB on 4068 4004 or on anonymously via Crimestoppers or Policelink.
