We can be so proud of what we have accomplished together. This afternoon, we saw governments and private sector partners coming together behind our common goal. We have heard some amazing numbers. I want to thank all governments, all business leaders, and financial institutions for their contribution to the campaign. You answered our call, loud and clear, and I am grateful for that. Now, I promised that Europe will make a new pledge for this campaign.

I am delighted to pledge on behalf of Team Europe an additional EUR 7 billion for renewables in Africa. This is Europe standing with you. Now and in the future.
