Vote To Bring $500,000 To Knox Parks

Three local park projects in Knox have progressed to the community voting stage of the Victorian Government's Pick My Park program.

With community support, Council could secure more than $500,000 in funding for improvements at Kings Park in Upper Ferntree Gully, Marie Wallace Reserve in Bayswater and David Cooper Park in Wantirna South.

If successful, the funding will help us to deliver improvements and upgrades, including new playground equipment and features, upgraded park infrastructure, improved accessibility and more welcoming community spaces.

Funding will be awarded based on community votes, so your vote could help bring these projects to life.

Voting is open until 3 August 2026. Victorian residents aged 16 or over can vote.

Find out more about each project below:

Then cast your vote for these projects online at Vote Now - Pick My Park projects Melbourne's Eastern Region | Engage Victoria .

Every vote counts. Get behind these projects by voting and encouraging your friends, family, neighbours, community groups and sporting clubs to do the same. Together, we can help bring more than $500,000 in funding to for our local parks.
