Vote To Win Open Space Funding For Bayside

Between 20 June and 3 August, the Department of Transport and Planning are running the Pick my Park consultation where participants can vote on their 3 favourite park projects across Melbourne regions. Projects with the highest number of votes receive funding!

Pick My Park is a $30 million program that is improving access to quality parks and open spaces for growing communities.

Projects are regional based and the 2 short-listed Bayside projects are in the Inner region:

  1. Tulip Street bike track and jumps upgrade (requested funding support: $250,000)

The revitalised Tulip Street Park will become an inclusive bike trail and jump park supporting active lifestyles, youth engagement, and community connection.

  1. Spring Road dog park (requested funding support: $100,000)

The upgrade will enhance the site with new secure fencing, accessible paths, drinking fountains, bins, seating and dog play areas.
