WA Police Union accepts fifth and final wages offer

  • WA Police Union accepts, in principle, State Government's industrial agreement  
  • The State Government has reached an in principle agreement on its latest offer to settle negotiations for an industrial agreement with the Western Australian Police Union. 

    As stated by Industrial Relations Minister Bill Johnston:

    "I'm pleased that we have reached an in principle agreement with the WA Police Union.

    "Final drafting of the proposed agreement is now underway and we hope the police union membership will go out to ballot in the near future.

    "This is a positive step forward towards reaching an agreement with the WA Police Union."
