Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Umut Yalcinkaya.
A warrant has been issued for the 31-year-old's arrest in relation to burglary offences.
Investigators have released an image of Yalcinkaya in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
He is described as about 170cm tall with a medium build, olive complexion, short dark hair and a beard.
Yalcinkaya is known to frequent the Melbourne CBD.
