Officers from Warrnambool intercepted an allegedly speeding truck and alcohol affected driver in Camperdown earlier this morning.
Police were conducting radar duties about 4.15am when they detected a Prime Mover, towing two trailers, travelling at 80km/h in a 60km/h section of Manifold Street.
The 34 metre long truck and trailer combination was intercepted and the driver, a 35-year-old Warrnambool man, underwent a preliminary breath test.
He then accompanied officers for an evidentiary test where he recorded an alleged result of 0.085.
He was issued penalty notices for drink driving and speeding.
