Water shutdown for Delegate township

Water Mains Replacement

A water shutdown affecting the entire township of Delegate on Wednesday 23 November is required to connect the new water main that has been installed at the intersection of Corrowong Road and Victoria Parade.

This essential work will take one day to complete, weather permitting. Works will be carried out between 9am and 3pm on Wednesday 23 November.

It is recommended that Delegate residents have some buckets of water filled to allow for the flushing of toilets during this shutdown period.

Traffic control officers will be in place to ensure traffic flow and safety around the worksite.

No access onto private property will be required.

Leed has been awarded this contract and will be issuing notices directly to individual residents on Monday 21 November, prior to works being conducted on Wednesday 23 November.

Council apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause and asks residents and motorists to be mindful of crews and machinery that will be working on and around this project.
